About Action Dry

Action Dry was established in 1996 following the failed takeover by Courts of Philland, an Insurance Company Response Service provider, established in the early 70’s and who dealt with flooring claims, accidental damage and fire & flood claims. Philland was an early pioneer in this type of work and were one of the Company’s invited to carry on the work of the London Salvage Corps who were disbanded around a quarter of a century ago.

Action Dry Senior Management was set up from the staff who remained. It was this vast pool of experience which set Action Dry on the road to where the Company is today. A well respected independent Company providing industry leading standards and methodology who were one of the first Company’s to be asked to sit on the Steering panel set up by the British Standards Institute to develop Pas 64 – “Professional water damage mitigation and initial restoration to domestic dwellings”.

Action Dry were also the first British Company whose systems were approved BSI EN ISO 9001 and BSI EN ISO 14001 for quality management and environmental systems and standards in the provision of property damage remediation and associated services.

ACTION DRY’S RECORD IS NOW WELL ESTABLISHED. THE NEXT FEW YEARS WILL SEE US BUILD ON OUR SUCCESSES TO FURTHER DEVELOP INTO A MAJOR PLAYER HERE IN THE UK.
